Who are we?
The Confrérie des Chevaliers du Goûte Andouille de Jargeau is an international brotherhood dedicated to promoting quality artisan charcuterie. Founded in 1970 in Jargeau, France, the Dutch chapter – Grand Bailliage des Pays-Bas – has been active since 1981.
Our mission is to recognise and reward craftsmanship. Artisan butchers, chefs and traiteurs who craft their products with passion and precision deserve a stage. We provide that stage through our annual international professional competition.
The Confrérie currently counts 4,500 members worldwide, from the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Italy, France, Luxembourg, Austria, Denmark and other European countries.
